Built for "Your Comfort"

At the Biscotasing Sportsman Lodge "rustic" does not mean "no indoor plumbing".

Our custom-built two-bedroom cabins are fully equipped with electricity, an electric counter stove, fridge, and a microwave. Hot and cold running water, and yes, a full washroom. Our duplex modern cabin has room for up to 24 guests - 12 people per side, two kitchens (featuring propane stoves), two dining rooms and washrooms. Enjoy the great outdoors even more and make use of our barbecues.

Biscotasing, over a 130 yrs of history!

The first sign of industry in Biscotasing took the form of a sawmill built in 1891 by Boots and Saddlers from Lindsay, Ontario.

At the time, supplies had to be hauled by ox cart over Gowganda Portage from the town of Gowganda.

Those early ruts are still visible in the landscape of the area.
